Bears & Blankets

Each year, more than 9,000 children are admitted to WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital, many facing serious health challenges in unfamiliar surroundings. The Bears & Blankets initiative provides comfort through donations of new stuffed animals and blankets.

Since June 2025, Bears & Blankets has served as a national alumni service project. Donate items locally or give financially via WVU Foundation pages.
